For families
Get started
You can begin today. Here is exactly what the process looks like, what to gather, and what determines how quickly services can start.
Begin with the secure intake form
The intake form is hosted on a protected platform, which makes it the right place for anything involving health information. It takes a few minutes and puts your family directly in front of our intake team.

What "no waitlist" means for you
No waitlist means your family can begin intake right away instead of joining a months-long queue. Your actual start date depends on clinical fit, provider availability, records, funding verification, assessment, and authorization — and we keep you updated at every step.
We would rather tell you a realistic date than a comfortable one.

Share your needs
Tell us about your child, what you hope changes, and where you live. Nothing lengthy is required to begin.
Connect with the intake team
A real person reviews your inquiry, answers questions, and explains the honest path from here.
Verify documents and funding
Records are collected securely and benefits or private-pay arrangements are confirmed.
Complete the appropriate assessment
A clinician meets your child and gathers the baseline that a real plan depends on.
Build the care plan
Goals are written with you, in plain language, with progress measures you can actually follow.
Coordinate the service start
Schedule, setting, and team are confirmed — including school or daycare coordination when it applies.
What to gather before you call
None of this is required to start a conversation, but having it ready usually shortens the timeline.
- Any diagnostic evaluation or psychological report
- Prior therapy reports or discharge summaries
- An IEP or 504 plan, if your child has one
- Current insurance or funding information
- Photo ID for the responsible caregiver
- Custody or guardianship documentation, where it affects consent
Please do not email these documents to a general address. Use the secure intake form, or ask the intake team for a protected way to send them.
What can affect your start date
These are the honest variables. We tell you which one you are waiting on rather than leaving you guessing.
| Clinical fit | Whether our services are genuinely the right match for your child. |
|---|---|
| Provider availability | Clinician capacity in your specific area and for the setting you need. |
| Records | Whether evaluations and reports are complete and available. |
| Funding verification | Benefit checks for insurance-funded ABA, or a rate conversation for private pay. |
| Assessment | Scheduling and completing the evaluation the plan is built on. |
| Authorization | Decisions made by a funding source, which are outside our control. |
Questions about starting
What does "no waitlist" mean?
It means you can begin intake with us right away instead of being placed in a months-long queue before anyone speaks with you. It does not mean therapy begins the same day. Your actual start date depends on clinical fit, provider availability in your area, records, funding verification, the appropriate assessment, and authorization where applicable. We tell you where you stand at each of those steps rather than leaving you to guess.
How quickly will someone contact me?
Our intake team reaches out as promptly as we reasonably can during business hours after we receive your inquiry. If you need to talk to someone sooner, calling (855) 274-1915 is the fastest route. We would rather you hear an honest timeline from a person than wait on an automated queue.
What could delay services?
The most common causes of delay are missing or incomplete records, funding or benefit verification that is still pending, waiting on a diagnostic evaluation from another provider, scheduling the assessment, authorization decisions from a funding source, and clinician availability in a specific geographic area. Clinical fit matters too — if we are not the right provider for a child, we will say so and help you look elsewhere rather than start something that will not serve them.
What records should a family prepare?
Gathering these in advance usually speeds things up: any diagnostic evaluation or psychological report, prior therapy reports or discharge summaries, an IEP or 504 plan if the child has one, current insurance or funding information, a photo ID for the responsible caregiver, and any custody or guardianship documentation that affects who can consent to care. Do not email these documents to a general address — use the secure intake form or ask the intake team for a protected way to send them.
What happens during an assessment?
An assessment is how a clinician learns who your child actually is before anyone writes a plan. Depending on the service, it can include a caregiver interview, direct observation, standardized or criterion-referenced measures, a review of prior records, and discussion of the routines and settings where you want to see change. The result is a care plan with goals your family recognizes as relevant, along with how progress will be measured and reviewed.
How are caregivers included?
Caregivers are part of the clinical team, not an audience for it. That means participating in goal setting, receiving coaching on strategies that carry over into everyday routines, getting plain-language updates on progress, and being able to raise concerns and have them addressed. Skills that only work when a clinician is in the room have not really been taught yet.
How can I confirm availability in my city?
Availability changes as our clinical team grows, so the honest answer for any specific address is: ask us. Call (855) 274-1915 or send an inquiry through the site and we will tell you what is currently open in your area rather than posting a blanket promise we cannot keep everywhere.
