This is a private-pay service. Mental health counseling at Look Up Therapy is not billed to insurance. Families pay directly, which keeps scheduling flexible and avoids authorization delays. Ask the intake team for current rates before you schedule.
Who counseling is for
Families come to counseling for many reasons: a child who is anxious or withdrawn, a teenager navigating identity and pressure, a parent who has been running on empty since a diagnosis, or a sibling whose own needs have quietly moved to the back of the line.

A culturally responsive practice
Culture, language, faith, and family structure shape what support should look like. We ask about those things early rather than assuming a single model of family fits everyone, and we adjust our approach to the household in front of us.
If a family needs a level of care we cannot appropriately provide, we say so directly and help identify a more suitable path. That is part of what ethical practice means to us.

Counseling questions
Are OT and mental health private pay?
Yes. Occupational therapy and mental health counseling at Look Up Therapy are private-pay services. They are not billed to insurance, which means no authorization queue and no benefit denial, but it also means the family is responsible for the cost of care. Ask the intake team for current rates and scheduling options.
What services are available in Florida?
In Florida we provide Applied Behavior Analysis, private-pay occupational therapy, and private-pay mental health counseling, based out of West Palm Beach and serving Palm Beach County. Center-based ABA serves children ages 2 through 6. Availability by service and setting changes, so contact us to confirm what is open for your family right now.
How quickly will someone contact me?
Our intake team reaches out as promptly as we reasonably can during business hours after we receive your inquiry. If you need to talk to someone sooner, calling (855) 274-1915 is the fastest route. We would rather you hear an honest timeline from a person than wait on an automated queue.
How are caregivers included?
Caregivers are part of the clinical team, not an audience for it. That means participating in goal setting, receiving coaching on strategies that carry over into everyday routines, getting plain-language updates on progress, and being able to raise concerns and have them addressed. Skills that only work when a clinician is in the room have not really been taught yet.
Is a diagnosis required?
It depends on the service and how it is funded. Insurance-funded ABA typically requires a qualifying diagnosis from an appropriate evaluating provider, because the funder requires it. Private-pay occupational therapy and private-pay mental health counseling have different requirements. If your child has not been evaluated yet, tell us — we can talk through what a reasonable next step looks like.
